Coloring Photos

The only specifications for this project was that we change the colors of one of our photos. This photo was taken in New Mexico in 2013. I chose to just go around the color wheel making a few of the major colors at my choice.

Frame (Color and Black and White)

This was a project that was started from an iPad. Each section of the frame was made using different transformation apps beginning with simple shapes and line. Once the image was flipped, skewed or colored, it was added to the frame. With this process, repetition became a necessity to make the frame look even or proportional thus the checkered board pattern, and the gradients came into the frame. The falling man image as a focal point was from an idea I had as a child, and I incorporated a motivation quote into the silhouette of the man. "What defines us is how we rise after falling down". Once I had the man and the frame put together, I began to mess around with color schemes. I was told to make the frame Black and White and so I kept the man colored, and vise versa with the colored frame.  Below are a few of the individual pieces of the frame before they were colored, rotated or edited.
